ReplyDeletei've done this on a piano soundfont using mario paint composer (check out friedfischer for other good songs) and i've made some tweaks if that's okay. i would like to put it up on youtube one day, with your permission.

Just a little note that you probably already know, Super Mario Galaxy 2 is out, (At least in my area) and judging by your love for mario and related, I'd suggest you'd get it. I already have it, and the difference it has from the first game is very very noticable. It also has a sarcastic fat purple luma, with PANTS, in place of Rosalina. She's still in the game though, but I'm not telling you where; it would spoil it.

Thank you so much for all of that! You piano playing is outstanding, I've never, EVER, seen anyone who can play like you! I appreciate the time you took so that other video game music fans can get great sheet music, for free too.
ReplyDeleteHi! I really love your rendition of this piece. I just have a couple of questions -- On measure 21, the left hand chords sound a bit weird in the score (F#-A-C#-E I believe), but it sounds like you play it with F#-A-D in the video. Also in measure 24, it sounds like for the right hand, you're playing Bb-B-A instead of what you put in the score. I actually like the way you played it in the video XD... I'm not sure if you intended to deviate on purpose, but I'm guessing it's stylistic? I love though, really beautiful :) I think I heard some other deviations as well...but I'm not sure haha. Anyway, thank you for sharing this!
